Drainfield Installation
Drainfield and Leach Field Installation in Ocala
The drainfield is where treated effluent from the tank soaks back into the soil, and it is the part of the system most likely to fail and the most costly to rebuild. In-spiraling installs and replaces drainfields across Ocala using gravel trenches, gravelless plastic chambers, and engineered mounds, each sized from your perc rate so the ground can absorb the daily flow without surfacing.
Why Drainfields Fail
A field fails when it gets overloaded or clogged. Solids that escape a tank with a bad baffle blind the soil, a settled distribution box sends all the flow to one trench, and a high seasonal water table leaves no room for effluent to disperse. The warning signs are soggy ground, slow drains, and odor over the field. Once the soil is sealed, the fix is a new field, not a patch.
Our Process
We evaluate the soil and the failure, then design a field the county will permit. For tough lots we build a pressure dosed mound with an elevated sand and gravel bed to hold the four feet of separation to groundwater. We set or reset the distribution box for even flow, lay the laterals to grade, cover with washed stone and filter fabric, and backfill.
